The Clearblue Fertility Monitor comes brand new in a sealed box. Most home ovulation tests identify the peak fertility days during your cycle by detecting the surge in Luteinising Hormone (LH) that triggers ovulation.
The Clearblue Fertility Monitor is unique as it tracks LH and estrogen levels to typically identify up to 6 fertile days! So, by detecting for the increase of LH and estrogen, it not only shows you your 2 peak fertility days, it can also inform most women of an extra 1-5 days of high fertility prior to their peak fertility. Since your partner’s sperm can survive in your body for several days, having intercourse on all of these days can lead to conception. The Clearblue Fertility Monitor tells you which days to take a test and on those days you simply pee onto the Clearblue Fertility Stick and insert the stick into the Monitor. The result is then read (see below).
Please note Clearblue do not include any of the test sticks or batteries (4 x AAA required) with the monitor and they have to be bought separately.
The Clearblue Fertility Monitor is suitable for women whose natural cycle normally lasts between 21 and 42 days.
